Job summary

Illuminating Steps, LLC seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver school-based behavioral consultation. You will assess behaviors, develop BIPs, and coach staff to implement plans with families and administrators.

Required: BCBA, NY LBA eligibility, and a Master’s in a related field. Travel between school sites and collaboration with special education teams are essential to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.

• New York LBA license or eligibility.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with FBAs and BIPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel between school sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop individualized, data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Analyze behavioral data and provide recommendations based on progress.
• Provide classroom observations and behavioral consultations.
• Train and coach teachers, TAs, and staff in ABA strategies.
• Develop measurable behavioral goals for IEPs.
• Participate in CSE meetings as needed.
• Provide parent consultation and support on strategies.
• Supervise RBTs when applicable.
• Maintain accurate session notes and reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and policies.
