Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant to partner with school administrators, teachers, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral supports for students. You will conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, and analyze data to guide interventions.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, aligning with IEP goals, and presenting progress in CSE meetings while maintaining HIPAA/FERPA compliance. This role requires NYS license and BCBA preference; travel to districts is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• BCBA Certification preferred.
• NYS Driver’s License and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify function of behavior and interventions.
• Design, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with student needs.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Support IEPs and CSE meetings with behavioral recommendations.
• Communicate progress with supervisors and directors; maintain confidentiality.
