Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY seeks a Behavior Consultant/BCBA to develop evidence-based supports and collaborate with schools and families. The role may be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time, with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities include BIFs and data-driven decisions, coaching staff, and participation in IEP/CSE activities. NYS driver license and BCBA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, special ed, psychology or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function and intervention strategies.
• Design, implement and monitor BIPs aligned with educational goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff for consistency.
• Participate in CSE meetings to present progress and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/FERPA and company policies.
• Travel between assigned school districts for on-site consultation.
