Job summary

Onward Search Education is partnering with a school in Isanti County, MN to hire a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA will assess behavioral needs, develop data-driven intervention strategies, and support student success through collaboration with school teams.

The role emphasizes coordination with teachers, administrators, and families, including training staff on behavior strategies and data collection. Minnesota licensure and BCBA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in ABA / Education / Psychology or related field.
• BCBA certification required.
• Active or eligible Minnesota licensure/certification.
• Experience with children/adolescents in school or clinical settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) using data-driven practices.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support across school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistency in interventions.
• Train and support staff on behavior strategies, implementation, and data collection.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
