Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide development and direct support of behavioral programming in the Anoka-Hennepin School District as indicated on IEPs and district programs.

Responsibilities include functional behavior assessments, program development, staff training, and consultation to school teams. Travel between buildings is required, with duties in multiple locations and outdoor settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in behavior analysis from an accredited program.
• BCBA certification with BACB in good standing or in process.
• Training in behavior crisis intervention and positive behavioral strategies.
• Ability to work with students with high-level special education services.

Responsibilities

• Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for students.
• Collaborate with teams to tailor programming and maintain a positive work environment.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Implement PBIS and crisis de-escalation techniques to support student progress.
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized education plans.
• Provide staff training on behavioral recommendations.
