Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in Nassau County, NY. This role can be part-time or full-time, with compensation ranging from $40-$75/hour or $58,500-$75,000 annually depending on caseload, license, and experience.

The position involves collaborating with schools, families, and professionals to implement evidence-based behavioral supports and ensure alignment with IEPs and CSE processes. Travel between districts is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, SPED, Psychology, or related field.
• NYs BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and families.
• Must have NYS Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop evidence-based behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and identify functions to guide interventions.
• Design and monitor BIPs aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze data to guide interventions.
• Coach classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and CSE meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per HIPAA/FERPA.
