Job summary

Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY, seeks a Behavior Consultant/BCBA to support students and families with evidence-based behavioral plans across districts.

Status: Part-Time, Fee-for-Service or Full-Time. Compensation: $40-$75/hour or $58,500-$75,000 annually, depending on caseload, licensure, and experience. Travel between districts is required; interview will discuss current caseload and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• NYS Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school administrators, teachers, aides, and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify functions and interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and staff trainings on behavior management and data collection.
• Travel between districts to provide on-site consultation.
