Job summary

Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY seeks a Behavior Consultant/BCBA to provide on-site behavioral supports in schools and settings. Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data collection, and coaching staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers part-time or full-time options with generous benefits and professional development, including BACB CEUs, health/dental/vision insurance, and retirement planning. Travel between districts is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology or related field.
• NYS BCBA, BCABA, or LBA certification required/ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school administrators, teachers, families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function of behavior and interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student needs.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and modeling to staff for consistent implementation.
• Collaborate on IEPs and attend CSE meetings.
• Develop and deliver professional development on behavior management.
