Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. The role may be part-time (FFS) or full-time, with compensation ranging from hourly to annual depending on arrangement.

The position requires BCBA/BCABA/LBA credentials, plus experience in FBAs, BIPs, and data-driven planning. Travel to multiple districts is expected alongside ongoing professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification required or in process.
• Minimum 1 year supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaboration to identify function and plan interventions.
• Design and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff on strategies.
• Participate in IEP and CSE activities and document progress.
• Maintain HIPAA and FERPA compliance with student records.
• Travel between assigned districts for on-site consultation.
