Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based roles in Nassau County. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting under BCBA supervision.

The schedule follows the school calendar with daytime weekday hours, no evenings or weekends, and opportunities for supervision, CPI/CPR/First Aid training, CEUs, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred (not required)
• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience preferred
• Previous school-based or special education experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student’s learning goals
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation that meets school and agency standards
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills
