Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for part-time, school-based positions in Nassau County. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, under BCBA supervision.

Hours are Monday through Friday, following the school calendar, with no evenings or weekends. Competitive pay of $23–$26 per hour, plus opportunities for CPI/CPR training, CEUs, and supervision hours toward BCBA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience preferred.
• School-based or special education experience preferred.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student's goals.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation meeting school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills.
