Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based positions in Nassau County. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, under supervision of BCBAs and school staff.

The role offers daytime Monday–Friday hours with no evenings or weekends, following the school calendar. Competitive pay and opportunities for training, CEUs/PDUs, and career growth are included.

Qualifications

• Availability for full school-day hours, Monday through Friday
• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred)
• Previous school-based or special education experience (preferred)
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays is a plus
• Reliable transportation to school districts
• Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student's learning goals
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation that meets school and agency standards
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen your clinical skills
