Job summary

Dragonfly Cares in Nassau County, NY is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based positions. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students within a school setting, working under BCBA supervision to implement individualized goals.

This role offers consistent daytime hours, follows the school calendar, and has no evenings or weekends with an immediate start. Competitive pay for qualified candidates is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred, not required).
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred).
• School-based or special education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision during the school day.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student’s goals.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation meeting school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills.
