Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based positions in Nassau County for the upcoming school year. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting and work with supervising BCBAs and school staff to implement BIPs and support learning goals.

This role follows the school calendar with daytime weekday hours and no evenings or weekends, offering meaningful,

Qualifications

• Availability for full school-day hours, Monday through Friday
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred)
• Previous school-based or special education experience (preferred)
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays, is a plus
• Reliable transportation to school districts.
• Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student's learning goals
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation that meets school and agency standards
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen your clinical skills
