Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based roles in St. James, Commack, Sayville and surrounding areas.

You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, under supervision of BCBAs, implementing individualized BIPs and supporting learning during the school day. This position offers weekday daytime hours with no evenings or weekends, following the school calendar, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field (preferred).
• Experience working in school-based or special education settings (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision during the school day.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with student goals.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation meeting school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills.
