Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based roles in St. James, Commack, Sayville and surrounding areas for the upcoming school year.

You'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, under BCBA supervision, working with teachers and school staff to support learning, behavior and social development throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ABA experience preferred.
• School-based or special education experience preferred.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision during the school day.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with goals.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff.
• Maintain detailed documentation meeting school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and trainings to strengthen clinical skills.
