Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based roles in Nassau County for the upcoming school year.

You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, working closely with supervising BCBAs and school staff to implement individualized BIPs and support skill development throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred)
• Previous school-based or special education experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision during the school day
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student’s learning goals
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation meeting school and agency standards
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills
