Job summary

Cortica - Neurodevelopmental is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings. You’ll work with educators, families, and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across the school day.

This role requires BCAT certification within 30 days where required and involves collaboration, data collection, and implementing behavior plans aligned with IEP goals. Travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in ABA/Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collect data and complete session notes and incident reports.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation and self-care in students.
• Follow safety, de-escalation, and mandated reporting procedures.
• Travel between assigned work sites within the service area.
