Job summary

Cortica is hiring a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support for students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to implement BIPs and monitor progress.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–3:30 PM) with a minimum of 4 paid hours per day, and requires BCAT or RBT credentials within 30 days where applicable, plus safety training and TB clearance.

Qualifications

• BCAT certification must be obtained within 30 days where required.
• RBT credential must be obtained within 30 days where required by the district.
• Ability to obtain safety training certification within 30 days.
• Valid TB clearance is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collect data on student progress and document session notes.
• Collaborate with educators and clinical team to support student learning.
• Participate in school trainings and meetings as assigned.
• Follow safety and crisis protocols and de-escalation procedures.
