Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) for full-time, school-based positions in Riverhead school district. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting, working with supervising BCBAs and school staff to implement individualized BIPs and support skill development throughout the school day.

Ideal candidates have a passion for helping students succeed and bring reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred, not required).
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred).
• Previous school-based or special education experience (preferred).
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student's learning goals.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain detailed, professional documentation that meets school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen clinical skills.
