Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or over.
• Four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Associate degree with 60 credits and childcare experience.
• 21 months of care supervision with non-relatives + required training/qualifications.
• Current early childhood credential level II or higher.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing requirements daily.
• Create and implement quality lesson plans.
• Open/close program daily.
• Supervise and engage with students.
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities and group events.
• Oversee daily operations and procurement within district guidelines.
• Attend director meetings and staff interviews.
• Hire and supervise program staff.
• Evaluate staff performance annually and after 60 days.
