Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Applicant must be 21 years or older.
• Qualifications may be met by one of four options: a four-year degree in related fields; an associate degree plus experience; 21 months experience with training options; or an Early Childhood Credential Level II+.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce Colorado licensing requirements.
• Create and implement quality lesson plans for program days.
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate group activities with safe materials.
• Supervise and actively engage with students during program hours.
• Oversee day-to-day operations: materials, discipline, parent concerns, attendance, and sanitation.
• Open and close the program as scheduled; assist director with staff supervision.
• Plan and attend monthly director and principal meetings as requested.
• Create activities and field trips for full-day programming.
• Promote and market the before/after care program.
