Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers seeks a Before & After School Director to plan and implement the child care program, supervise staff, and build strong community relations with families and school partners.

You will develop quality programming, ensure licensing compliance with Colorado rules, and manage daily operations, schedules, and field trips. This non-exempt role requires strong leadership, communication, and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings.
• Director must be age 21 or over.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows licensing requirements; operates daily.
• Plans and implements quality lesson plans.
• Open and close the program daily.
• Supervise and engage with students.
• Plan/group activities and field trips; ensure safe environment.
• Oversee daily operations and equipment within district guidelines.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate program staff; maintain staff files.
• Create weekly staff schedules and maintain licensing records.
