Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators, families, and our clinical team to promote learning and safety during the school day.

The role emphasizes ABA-based interventions, data collection, and alignment with IEP goals. A BCAT credential is preferred; travel between campuses is required, and a reliable vehicle helps you stay connected with students across sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of ABA/Behavior Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• BCAT certification must be obtained within 30 days where required.

Responsibilities

• Execute BCAT responsibilities; obtain BCAT if required within 30 days.
• Provide 1:1 and group ABA services in schools.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support student communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care.
• Collect data and complete session notes and incident reports.
• Attend classroom observations, meetings, and trainings.
• Follow de-escalation and crisis protocols; travel between sites.
