Job summary

Cortica - Neurodevelopmental is seeking a Preschool Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in a local private preschool setting.

You will work with educators, caregivers, and Cortica’s clinical team to help students engage, learn, and participate in daily classroom activities. A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential and you will contribute to a growth-minded culture with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in ABA/Behavior Technician roles.
• Must obtain RBT certification within 120 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Execute all responsibilities and skills required by the RBT certification.
• Provide direct one-to-one and group ABA services in school settings.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support student development in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care.
• Utilize strengths-based treatment approaches with educational teams.
• Collect data on student progress and complete timely session notes and incident reports.
• Participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and school-based training.
• Implement proactive behavior support and follow safety and crisis protocols.
