Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators and Cortica's clinical team to help students engage, learn, and progress within their school day.

The role emphasizes implementing individualized behavior plans, data collection, and working across the educational daily routine, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ABA / Behavior Technician work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, school-based behavior support to students.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams and Cortica clinicians.
• Collect data on student progress and document session notes.
• Participate in classroom observations and trainings.
• Follow safety, de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures.
• Travel between assigned work sites within the service area.
