Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.
• One year of retail, customer service or health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians, patients, and departments to schedule, reschedule, and cancel tests and procedures.
• Provide accurate information on scheduling criteria to expedite patient preparation and arrival.
• Demonstrate superb telephone etiquette and professional communication at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of registration, scheduling systems, and web-based resources.
• Review schedules daily and communicate changes to staff.
• Ensure compliance with patient-first service standards and policies.
