Job summary

Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute in Florida seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to manage scheduling and patient flow for GI procedures. Qualifications

• Must have scheduling experience.
• One year of retail, customer service or health care experience preferred.
• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations for tests and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, patients and staff to ensure proper prep and arrival times.
• Maintain scheduling systems and registries; monitor ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes as needed.
• Provide professional phone etiquette and customer service aligned with Patient First philosophy.
