Orlando Health Medical Group – Summerport Urology is seeking a Sr. Front Office Assistant to perform scheduling and administrative tasks in an ambulatory setting under supervision.

The role supports the Summerport Urology practice, coordinating referrals and maintaining patient records with accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, ~30 wpm typing, ICD/CPT knowledge, and 2 years in a medical office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; typing speed ~30 wpm.
• Knowledge of ICD & CPT coding.
• Two years of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and standards of Orlando Health.
• Answer phones, take messages, file lab results and medical records.
• Perform word processing and spreadsheet data entry.
• Handle charge entries and cash handling.
• Liaise between physician, patient, and insurance for referrals/authorizations.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance as per policy.
• Keep the office clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist office billing service as requested.
