Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience with Node.js, Go, or a comparable language
• Working knowledge of queues or async processing with Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Genuine interest in distributed systems and data consistency
• Hands-on with Redis or an in-memory store
• Comfortable with SQL or NoSQL databases and indexing
• Proficient in Vue 3 or similar frontend framework and state management
• Ability to write tests and produce clear design docs
• AI-native builder and experience using agents in production

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features in Node.js / Go that handle live production traffic
• Own services end to end: code, tests, rollout, monitoring
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize indexes
• Get hands-on with queues, caches, and rate limiters
• Ship Vue 3 UIs that consume APIs with real-time updates
• Write design docs and defend them in reviews
• Join on-call rotation and assist with incidents
• Learn from code reviews and level up quickly
• Engage with AI-native tooling to improve outputs
