evoke is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II (Go) to help design and scale backend services for a nationwide distributed device network in Austin. You will own core components from design through production, shaping architecture and the Go codebase as the platform consolidates.

You'll collaborate closely with Product, deliver API-first services, and drive reliability, performance, and resiliency across distributed systems while participating in a hybrid on-site schedule in Austin.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go, with real experience building and operating high-scale backend systems in production.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems concepts and trade-offs.
• Experience building API-first, customer-facing services.
• Experience working with relational databases and data stores in production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-scale backend services in Go.
• Deliver backend projects end-to-end - from design through to production - improving reliability, performance, and resiliency across distributed systems.
• Build and evolve the systems that manage content delivery and device coordination across a nationwide network.
• Design and evolve API-first services supporting both customer-facing and internal applications.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design for future initiatives.
• Partner directly with Product to scope, plan, and execute backend work.
