Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Senior Go Backend Developer to take ownership of critical backend systems powering our hiring platform. You’ll write production Go every day, shape architecture, and drive reliability and performance across services.

You’ll design and evolve APIs (GraphQL/REST), work with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with frontend, product, data, and design teams. Full remote within UTC−1 to UTC+3, English daily, with strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production Go experience required.
• Based in a European timezone (UTC−1 to UTC+3).
• Senior engineer with ownership and independent work.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go.
• Build and evolve APIs behind complex product workflows.
• Design scalable, reliable backend architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers, data engineers, and designers.
• Own features end to end from design to production.
• Contribute to testing, observability, and system resilience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
