HighLevel, a remote-first company, is hiring for a senior systems engineer to own the architecture of our distributed platform. You will influence design across Go and Node.js services, Kubernetes deployments, and data stores like Redis and MongoDB.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of engineering with ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven production owner for a production system through real failures.
• Fluent in Node.js and/or Go, with design and debugging skills.
• Experience with queueing, async architectures, and backpressure.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture health of a billion-scale distributed system.
• Approve critical-path designs and own core system choices.
• Hunt gaps and drive fixes before incidents.
• Prototype risky architectural bets and lead cross-team debugging.
• Ensure resilience with degradation strategies and backpressure.
• Mentor teams, lead design reviews and RCAs.
• Shape AI-assisted engineering safely on critical systems.
