Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility‑scale solar and BESS projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and risk, ensuring delivery on time and within contract terms while coordinating Owners, vendors, and internal teams.

This role can be remote or hybrid, with regular in‑office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR. You will lead design reviews, FAT, and commissioning, develop schedules, monitor costs, and drive

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple projects.
• 2–4 years of project management experience on utility-scale PV solar projects.
• Knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning and support.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure execution aligns with terms.
• Serve as primary point of contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and SOLV teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment with goals and requirements.
• Lead procurement and contract execution, including scope coordination and material procurement.
• Work with field teams to ensure timely installation of SCADA components.
• Lead design reviews, commissioning activities, and FAT.
• Develop and manage project schedules to avoid delays to critical milestones.
• Prepare and manage monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Oversee documentation including RFIs, change requests, and action tracking.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and execution risks.
• Maintain relationships with SOLV partners, clients, and vendors.
• Implement SOLV best practices in scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Lead project closeout and lessons learned; drive process improvements.
• Stay informed of industry pricing and competitive conditions and apply best practices.
