Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. The role can be remote or hybrid with regular in‑office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR and requires coordinating owners, vendors, and internal teams.

The candidate will guide SCADA design, FAT, commissioning, and project closeout, while maintaining schedules and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects in multidisciplinary teams.
• 2–4 years in project management for utility-scale PV solar projects.
• General knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Ability to manage cost budgets and project resources.
• Proven skills in issue escalation, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with scheduling software (Oracle P6, Microsoft Project).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with ERP for project cost management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget for EPC projects.
• Lead procurement, contract execution, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and interface with Owners and vendors.
• Ensure installation quality and adherence to SOLV standards and contracts.
• Lead design reviews, FAT testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain project schedules to protect critical milestones.
• Prepare monthly cost reporting and forecasting for projects.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and execution risks.
