Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects, focusing on SCADA design, installation, testing, and commissioning. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks while coordinating owners, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on contractual commitments.

The role allows remote or hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, and requires strong communication, schedule discipline, and cost forecasting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• PMP or other project management certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with utility-scale PV solar projects preferred.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, and risk management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and large vendor networks.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Interpret contract requirements and ensure execution aligns with terms and SOLV standards.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and align goals across stakeholders.
• Lead procurement, scheduling, and project closeout activities.
• Work with field teams to ensure on-time, high-quality installation of SCADA components.
• Lead design reviews, FAT activities, and ensure contractual alignment.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to protect critical milestones.
• Prepare monthly cost reporting and forecasting for projects.
• Manage project documentation (RFIs, change requests, action tracking).
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with the team.
• Maintain relationships with partners, clients, and vendors.
• Implement standardized SOLV scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting processes.
