Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects. Remote or hybrid work is possible with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

You will manage SCADA scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and risk while coordinating Owners, vendors, and internal teams to meet contractual goals. The role requires 2–4 years of PM experience on PV solar projects, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ERP and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects in multidisciplinary teams.
• 2–4 years of project management experience on utility-scale PV solar projects.
• General knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Proven ability to manage cost budgets and resources.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with scheduling and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget for utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects.
• Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure alignment with SOLV standards.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal SOLV teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to align with project goals.
• Lead procurement and contract execution activities, including scope, scheduling, and closeout.
• Work with field teams to ensure timely, high-quality SCADA installations.
• Lead system design reviews, FAT activities, and commissioning.
• Develop and manage project schedules to avoid delays to critical milestones.
• Prepare monthly cost reporting and forecasting for projects.
• Oversee RFIs, change requests and action tracking for timely resolution.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and execution risks.
