Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects, focusing on planning, scope management, budgeting, buyout coordination, controls and reporting. This role can be remote or hybrid, with a regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of project management experience on utility-scale PV solar projects.
• General knowledge of SCADA design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Experience with cost budgets and resources.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Oracle P6 or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget throughout the EPC project lifecycle.
• Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure project execution aligns with contractual terms and SOLV standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal SOLV teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with goals and requirements.
• Lead procurement and contract execution activities, including scope coordination and material procurement.
• Work with field teams to ensure timely installation of SCADA components.
• Lead system design reviews, FAT activities, and ensure contractual alignment.
• Develop and manage project schedules to protect critical milestones.
• Prepare and manage monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Oversee project documentation and change requests for timely resolution.
• Identify and manage risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain relationships with SOLV partners, clients, and vendors.
• Implement SOLV best practices in scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Lead project closeout and lessons learned, driving process improvements.
• Stay informed of industry pricing, trends, and competitive conditions.
