Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to design, develop and deliver SCADA integration components for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. The role involves programming, commissioning, and collaboration with field teams to ensure project success.

The candidate will work on Ignition SCADA platforms, PLC environments and data integration while supporting project documentation, testing and on-site commissioning as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Ignition SCADA platform experience.
• Familiar with PLCs such as Schweitzer RTAC, Allen-Bradley, GE/Emerson RX3i or similar.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design and development of SCADA integration components and systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects including Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Work within a team environment to define and implement product design standards and best practices.
• Review project-specific requirements for assigned scope and ensure contractual deliverables.
• Develop device points lists, HMI mockups & assets, commissioning test plans and checklists.
