Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineering level professional to support the design, development, and delivery of the SOLV SCADA solution for utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high voltage substations. Hybrid work is possible with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, or fully remote.

You will design, develop, and commission SCADA systems, collaborate with teams, and ensure project deliverables meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy including industrial or utility scale PV solar, BESS, or wind.
• Proficiency with Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Execute design and development of SCADA integration components and systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate to define and implement product design standards and best practices.
• Review project requirements and ensure deliverables meet scope.
• Generate device points lists, HMI mockups, assets, and commissioning test plans.
• Program and commission SCADA servers, data historians, and HMIs.
• Review closeout documentation for contractual deliverables.
