Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer – Small Business in Atlanta, GA to drive growth in small business lending and maintain a strong local market presence. The role serves as a resource for branch lending teams and builds relationships with COIs across the community.

Ideal candidates have extensive business development experience, active NMLS registration, and a solid understanding of credit facilities and financial statements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
• 6-8 years in business development and/or financial services experience.
• Proficient in small business lending products and NMLS active.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish a consistent business development strategy in the marketplace.
• Call planning, COI retention calls, and prospecting new clients/COIs.
• Maintain COI base and develop partnerships with internal leaders.
• Source mortgage lenders statewide to develop Centers of Influence.
• Assess credit facilities and balance client needs with risk.
• Provide guidance to lending teams in branches.
