Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking an SBA Banker II to lead business development with a primary focus on SBA lending and deposit growth in the local market. The role involves aggressively soliciting and servicing clients, managing SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans, and growing a portfolio of commercial relationships.

The position requires strong credit assessment, relationship management, and adherence to bank policies, with mentorship to junior lenders and active participation in community outreach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years SBA experience preferred.
• 7+ years in business development/financial services required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general PC use.

Responsibilities

• Lead SBA business development and deposit growth in the market.
• Source and manage SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans and portfolios.
• Coordinate SBA loan packaging, submission, and closings.
• Mentor junior SBA lenders within Seacoast Bank.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC and Code of Conduct.
• Develop COI networks and partner with internal teams.
