Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer – Small Business in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on expanding small business lending, growing the bank's market presence, and supporting lending teams in branches.

You will build relationships with Centers of Influence, source mortgage lenders across the state, and collaborate with internal leaders to deliver tailored financial solutions while managing risk and maintaining integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
• 6-8 years in business development and/or financial services experience required.
• Proficient in small business lending products with active NMLS registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Establish a consistent business development strategy in the marketplace.
• Call planning, follow-up, and COI retention calls.
• New client/COI prospecting and outbound calling.
• Networking events participation and partnership development with internal leaders.
• Source mortgage lenders to develop Centers of Influence across the state.
• Balance business needs with customer requests while managing risk.
