Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking an SBA Banker II to lead business development with emphasis on SBA lending and deposit growth in the Atlanta area. You will solicit and service clients for SBA 7(a), 504 and USDA loans while managing a growing portfolio and expanding COI relationships.

The role requires deep credit acumen, experience in SBA financing, and the ability to mentor junior lenders while ensuring compliant processes and timely loan closings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a financial-related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of SBA experience preferred.
• 7+ years in business development/financial services required; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SBA lending and deposit growth efforts with market leadership in the region.
• Develop and maintain COI network; gain referrals through community leaders.
• Source and build new business relationships; service existing clients.
• Credit analysis, SBA/USDA loan structuring, and timely closings.
• Coordinate with attorneys, closer staff, and bank teams to fund loans.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC and conduct fair lending practices.
