Job summary

The SBA Banker II at Seacoast Bank leads business development with a primary focus on SBA lending and deposit growth in the Atlanta market. This role aggressively solicits and services clients for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans, while managing a portfolio of business relationships and driving new account growth through calls, marketing and referrals.

It emphasizes credit analysis, proper loan structuring, and coordination with attorneys and loan closers to ensure timely funding.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
5+ years of directly related SBA experience preferred.
7+ years in business development and/or financial services experience required.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead business development with a focus on SBA lending and deposit growth.
Solicit and service clients for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans.
Manage a portfolio of business relationships and generate new accounts.
Coordinate with attorneys, loan closers and staff to ensure timely loan closing and funding.
Mentor junior SBA lenders and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
