Job summary

First National Bank of Pennsylvania seeks an SBA Business Development Officer 2 in Charlotte. You will generate loan volume using SBA products, market extensively to grow a referral network, and coordinate with Credit to move loans from submission to funding.

The role requires building relationships with internal and external partners, mastering SBA policies, and delivering timely loan approvals and closings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in banking external sales and SBA preferred.
• Strong PC skills and knowledge of job-related software.

Responsibilities

• Actively markets to develop and grow referral sources.
• Maintain a database of at least 1000 referral sources.
• Read tax returns, financial statements, and business plans to assess eligibility.
• Structure financing options and obtain credit approval.
• Coordinate with Credit and Closing Partners to process loans.
• Maintain loan pipeline and provide management reports.
• Ensure compliance with SBA SOP and Credit Policies.
• Attend sales meetings and trainings; participate in market groups.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
