Job summary

East West Bank is seeking an SBA Manager to drive growth and profitability of the SBA loan portfolio across our California footprint and national partners. You will supervise sales and underwriting activities, ensure compliance with SBA SOPs, and drive revenue growth while maintaining service quality.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in accounting, finance, or economics, 10+ years SBA lending and supervisory experience, and strong financial analysis; MS Office proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or economics (preferred)
• 10+ years SBA lending experience (7a/504)
• 10+ years of business development and supervisory experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with all team members to attain goals
• Experience in financial statement and cash flow analysis
• Knowledge of SBA SOP and policies
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Supervise sales personnel including hiring, performance management, and evaluation
• Ensure quality control; forward loan files with complete documentation
• Review SBA loan submissions for compliance with SBA standards
• Communicate with sales, credit, and operations to meet funding objectives
• Partner with branch teams to develop SBA loan programs for targeted small businesses
• Provide leadership to branches to meet sales goals and build revenues
• Support building strong customer relationships for SBA products
• Perform other duties as assigned
