Strong knowledge of SBA processes and regulatory requirements is essential. The position emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, loan structuring, and timely processing within SLA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years SBA lending or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 programs and eligibility.
• Commercial credit analysis and loan structuring skills.
• SBA processing knowledge to support 7(a) and 504 controls.
• Experience with Sales teams and SBA SMEs preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of SBA SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication with bankers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Draft SBA loan Opportunity Memos from bank inputs.
• Evaluate SBA eligibility for initial review and before approvals.
• Review credit quality and SBA structure including costs.
• Request information to complete OM process and communicate needs.
• Track SBA CAO decisions, update OM, and issue Term Sheets.
• Deliver team package to lenders with Term Sheets for smooth handoff.
• Participate in training with Sales Team to generate new SBA loans.
• Ensure compliance with internal SBA controls and SLA targets.
• Collaborate with internal partners for cross-selling opportunities.
