Qualifications

• 5+ years of functional/professional experience in banking or finance.
• 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with commercial lending or product knowledge.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret balance sheets.
• Strong communication skills with managers, staff, customers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of a full-service branch office.
• Communicate with existing and potential customers to introduce products and services.
• Solicit new business from customers, communities and civic organizations.
• Develop branch business plan to maximize profitability of banking products.
• Ensure custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities.
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by law and management.
• Represent the bank at community functions to market products and services.
• Oversee performance management of branch staff; supervise subordinate staff.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interview, hire and train employees; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
