Job summary

Seacoast Bank seeks an SBA Banker II in Tampa to lead local SBA lending initiatives and drive deposit growth. You will solicit, service, and manage a portfolio of business clients, focusing on SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loan products while expanding the bank's market presence.

The role requires strong communication, financial analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to structure and close SBA financing, manage credit risk, and grow relationships with local business leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of directly related SBA experience preferred.
• 7+ years in business development and/or financial services experience required.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts with a focus on SBA lending and deposits.
• Aggressively solicit and service prospective and current clients for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of business relationships including COI development.
• Coordinate SBA loan packaging, submission and closing with internal teams.
• Educate clients on underwriting guidelines, SBA programs, and regulations.
• Mentor junior SBA Lenders and ensure adherence to bank policies.
